The Lockdown Diary - DAY 95

Posted 27th June 2020 at 10:14 by Cormack
Mum was moved from one hospital to another. She requested three things we are allowed to provide - nighties, her glasses and 'pay the phone bill' so you can consider she is at least mentally dealing from the top of the deck. Ankle is swollen and they can't go at it until it comes down a bit which is likely to be next week. We have a phone to her now as well. The grounds at Broadgreen are eerily quiet unlike the heaving body of people movement and parking it is usually. By being moved, she's also halved the distance home without doing anything as well. Efficient.

There's been a three-day gap in 'recommended listening' which I haven't had since I started. You know where this is going. Clips show. 60 tracks, 60 different artists, not even the NOW! people do that, do they?

There were a couple of bonuses thrown in and a couple of typos in the set-up but when you pin it down, there's an awful lot of music out there.

Another good net for eldest, added to which he's slightly ricked his back so he bowled leggies off a couple of paces. Firstly, I didn't know he could bowl leggies, he's never as much as tried before (they do have one in the junior side so they share knowledge in coaching and the like but he's never wheeled one out in a net) and secondly, he has potential for a very good stock ball in that area. I showed him how to bowl offies and then promptly told him to ignore me when he thought about having a go, I don't want to tamper with something he's developed himself.

Stay well
