Good day at work where I actually got my head around a couple of unfamiliar things and ran a few systems which provided slightly different results but landed on the correct one when reverse engineering previous results.

Well, it made me happy. Mrs C spent her day on Teams so I was marginally restricted in what I could do so left it until late on, whereupon I crashed out shortly after I finished. I did have a huge piece of a phenomenal fish pie, mind, so that's going to be a factor......

The Lockdown Diary - DAY 113

Very late to the parade after flaking out on #114 (to follow) as I was burning some evening oil.

A pretty quiet day with little to report. Daughter had to go for jabs which passed without incident and I built a fish pie. Not made, built. I started the night before and progressively worked through it. Cod, hake, haddock and salmon, all sorts of veg, hard boiled eggs, a lemon, bit of chilli and some flakes, proper vintage cheddar on the mash. Da bomb. I believe.

The Lockdown Diary - DAY 112

Back to the working week. I was shot to pieces today, aches and pains everywhere and skin not exactly a whiter shade of pale.

Recommended listening - Procol Harum, A Whiter Shade of Pale



Yeah, sue me.

Mum is up for a cast removal and assessment on Wednesday, fingers crossed for a move so she's at least nearer home and able to wear her own kit.

Son is bubbling with enthusiasm over the cricket and had another good...

The wonderful juxtaposition of the second day of the cricket being on the lockdown day of a Nelson.

Hard to believe that six weeks earlier, not only was the ground receiving minimal work, but I was on barracks only and I could have only taken this photo by long range drone. I only mention that because there was a local photography enthusiast (no, not that, you want Otterspool for that...) who sent a drone up to take some shots - a regular around the club, not some spy or something....
