The Lockdown Diary - DAY 14
Posted 7th April 2020 at 06:03 by Cormack
Another late update. Started early in the morning, an IT gremlin decided to not sync some grunt work I'd done so I had to repeat it. Testament to my equanimity (17 - approaching five years since its last appearance) today that I didn't go postal when this came about. Ended up eating big, late, and this knocked me out and made me feel a touch 'off' as well.
Which brings me here at this hour.
No news is good news in our relative's case, managed a half hour in the sun with a book and although a touch run down by the end of the day to the point that I nodded off a little too easily, overall the day was quietly productive.
No further texts off the NHS. Maybe the demise of Kenny Rogers a week or two back has finally hit home. The torn dress, the shattered look was more than they could stand, maybe, and they're playing his back catalogue?
Two weeks down, the five bar gates on the wall are stacking up. Going to see if I can get another couple of hours. Stay well
