NHS Coronavirus Service: We have identified that you're someone at risk from severe illness if you catch Coronavirus. Please remain at home for a minimum of 12 weeks. Home is the safest place for you. Staying in helps you stay well and that will help this NHS too. You can open a window but do not leave your home, and stay three steps away from others indoors. Wash your hands more often, for at least 20 seconds.

Well that's that, then. Confined to barracks for twelve weeks, that's the middle of June and in terms of what I hope to miss, there's the outside chance of Prestatyn doing the double, a fair wedge of the cricket season, yomping around the field with the dog, even simply handling cash, the list is so long that by the end I'd be depressed but ironically, free to go as it'd be twelve weeks long. I didn't even live like this as a teenager living in a Kleenex factory full of supermodels.

NHS Coronavirus Service: Do you know how you will get your medicines while you are staying in your home? You can order repeat prescriptions online via the NHS app or your GP's online services

Please ask your family, friends or neighbours to pick up your prescriptions from a pharmacy. Just remind them to leave the items outside your door.

The NHS is still there for you - you will still get the care you need, but the way you receive it might change. More will happen over the phone and the internet.

I would marvel at the soul who would put in 'STOP' at this point - there are spam texts, friend texts, business texts and now texts that may save your life. Who'd stop the last?

So that's Day Zero. Mentally I find it hard to stay in, but I'm well aware of what I can and can't do and I have at least a finite date to look at, irrespective of whether it moves or not. I should have Dave Lamb narrating...

Not much to say, other than good luck mate. Are you being paid for all twelve weeks?

Am paid throughout, ML, and am working from home as well, although that's limited at the minute in the immediate context as everything changes day on day. I'm actually fairly well set up, but of course it doesn't end at me.
