The Lockdown Diary - DAY 122

Thursday July 24 - DAY 122
Mum finally got her gear as the ward relaxed enough for her to get a Red Cross package. Out of cotton fatigues and back into her own outfits - yay. A couple of books - yay. And tea last night didn't agree with her so I'd send in a sandwich - yay. I could boo the absence of baked goods as I had none done as this all changed quickly, but she had her stuff within the hour, Mrs C outdoing all on delivery once again.
Mum also gets a move on #124 to a residential unit geared towards physio and discharge.
Recommended listening - Amy Winehouse, Rehab
Other than that, a bit of rain about and so my out with the dog meant she lost her ball through impatience and longer, wetter grass, and I wore my wellies for the first time in over 17 weeks.
Stay well
