The Lockdown Diary - DAY 118

Sunday July 20 - DAY 118
Was offered and accepted scorer duties in an intraclub 40 over game, and played a blinder. 80 overs, went to the wire, nigh on 350 runs scored, ball by ball and for a Crohnie diabetic, managed to do it all without the need to use the services. That's the equivalent of that Atherton innings in South Africa...
Runs and catches for my lad and he was pleased with himself and rightly so. I flaked in the evening and rightly so. No move for Mum, nothing planned for the immediate now, which is disappointing. No word from engineer so no internet still, which is disappointing.
Recommended listening - Spandau Ballet, Communication
A song worthy of the 'what were they thinking?' thread, offset slightly by an unenhanced Leslie Ash in the video, but somewhat apt as well.
Stay well
