The Lockdown Diary - DAY 105
Posted 8th July 2020 at 10:53 by Cormack
Busy, busy, so am on catch-up. Mrs C's birthday on #106 so I decided that I would make a cake. I have a cracking recipe which makes a firm unit ripe for carving, and it came out the best ever. I have become Cake Boss.
Slept badly, second night inside a week, no real reason but it explains why this entry is two days after the event and a day late.
Went to nets, and the planned tournament is now scheduled for the weekend and in two weeks to finish. The club has unsurprisingly had an oversubscribed uptake which can be accommodated with a reshuffle of the deck - non-members have even expressed interests and will probably get to play at a small premium to the still-closed club.
Work ticked over, Mum continues to improve to the point they're considering next actions, even the sun came out enough to put shorts on for our 'out'. Not bad, not bad.
Recommended listening - Bob Dylan, Forever Young
Interestingly, Mrs C moves up a census group on #106. She doesn't care.
Stay well
