The Lockdown Diary - DAY 63
Posted 26th May 2020 at 22:49 by Cormack
Whit Monday and the sun is cracking the flags? #63 appeared not to have read the script and as such I ended up out in the garden reading The Miracle of Castel di Sangro, which is living up to the UBF reviews. Some genuine laugh out loud moments interspersing an engaging narrative, I may actually save it for my 'garden book'.
Also had a nap/doze out there and took on a hint of colour which I'm quite pleased about.
Mrs C is a little off colour and with that, we're all a bit subdued, for want of a better word - everything is very easy-paced.
Recommended listening - Inspiral Carpets, This Is How It Feels
Not inappropriate in the current climate, but also a cracking track anyway.
Stay well

Glad you’re enjoying The Miracle, it is a great book. Another Italian odyssey worth seeking out is A Season With Verona by Tim Parks.
Good choice of music too. |

I 'forgot' how good the Inspiral Carpets are, ML. A welcome jog of the memory
