The Lockdown Diary - DAY 24
Posted 17th April 2020 at 10:37 by Cormack
Late addition for yesterday as it was much like Day 23 but for a slightly different dynamic.
Mrs C decided that a couple of days from the monitor while the kids are at home and the sun is out would be worthwhile use of her time. Consequently, she had a mummy-daughter day (that doesn't work so well without alliteration) with sprinklings of son - garden games, phone memes, tidying up the weekend's work, film night. They needed that, I think - it's one thing when you are having expected time off (weekends and BHols) but this was more spur-of-the-moment and they made hay literally and figuratively. Nice to see Mrs C less tense and enjoying herself almost worry-free as well.
In-house takeaway tea made by me as expected, but simply to keep the 'day out' feel for them (I was still working). Rude not to.
Stay well
